Luxury apartments — our story

From a bold vision to a landmark address, discover the people and principles that shape every residence at City Majesty.

How it all began

City Majesty was founded in 2018 by a small group of architects and property developers who shared a single frustration: the lack of genuinely premium residential options in Northern Ireland. While Belfast and its surrounding areas were experiencing rapid growth, much of the new housing stock felt rushed and impersonal. They believed residents deserved something better — homes that combined the warmth and character of Northern Irish design traditions with the sleek functionality of contemporary European living.

The founding team spent two years researching the finest apartment developments across London, Copenhagen and Barcelona before breaking ground on the first City Majesty building. They brought back ideas about natural ventilation, communal green spaces, acoustic engineering and sustainable materials, then adapted those concepts to suit the local climate and culture. The result was a development that felt both internationally sophisticated and unmistakably rooted in its community.

Today, our portfolio has grown to include multiple buildings across the Halvorson-le-Robel district, but our founding principle remains unchanged: every apartment should feel like it was designed for the person living in it, not for a brochure. We take pride in the fact that over seventy per cent of our new residents come through personal recommendations from existing ones — the most meaningful measure of quality we know.

Our mission and values

We exist to create homes that inspire pride, foster community and stand the test of time. These core values guide every decision we make.

Craftsmanship first

We never cut corners. From the structural foundations to the smallest fitting, every element is specified to exceed industry standards. Our construction partners are selected through a rigorous vetting process, and we conduct over two hundred quality checks before any apartment is handed over. We believe that true luxury is not about ostentation — it is about materials that feel right, joints that align perfectly and systems that work flawlessly year after year.

Resident-centred design

Before we design a floor plan, we listen. We conduct extensive interviews with prospective residents to understand how they actually use their homes — where they cook, how they work, what makes them feel relaxed. Those insights shape everything from the placement of power outlets to the depth of wardrobes. The result is a living space that fits your life rather than forcing you to adapt to an arbitrary layout.

Sustainable responsibility

Every new development targets an EPC rating of A or above. We use triple-glazed windows, high-performance insulation and air-source heat pumps to minimise energy consumption. Our landscaping features native planting that supports local biodiversity, and we harvest rainwater for irrigation. We are also piloting a resident composting programme and have committed to achieving net-zero carbon in our operations by 2030.

Community connection

An apartment building is more than a collection of individual units — it is a neighbourhood. We design generous communal spaces, host seasonal resident events and maintain an online portal where neighbours can share recommendations, organise activities and raise ideas for improvements. Our on-site management team knows every resident by name and acts as the connective tissue that turns a building into a community.
